1. SIDE RAILS
The side rails form the main structure of the stretcher frame. Their ends are cut at 45° and feature specially designed joints for precise, secure and convenient assembly.
2. WEDGES
Wedges are inserted into the inner corners of the frame and allow the canvas tension to be adjusted. Gently driving the wedges into place moves the rails slightly apart, increasing the tension of the canvas.
3. FLEXIBLE CORNERS
The flexible corner joints allow the frame to expand slightly when adjustment is needed. This makes it possible to retighten the canvas over time, helping maintain the desired tension throughout the life of the artwork.
